From Beauty Enthusiast to Nail Expert & Educator in the Making
I’ve been immersed in the beauty industry my whole life — it’s in my roots. My mom, a licensed cosmetologist, did hair in our kitchen, while my dad, a master barber, cut hair until he passed in April 2024. Watching them work taught me how powerful it is to help people feel seen, beautiful, and confident — and that’s something I carry into every service I offer.
I officially began my beauty journey in 2016 as a makeup artist, working out of dorm rooms, my mom’s kitchen table, and for events like prom and Carnival band launches. In 2020, I transitioned into nails, and what started with practicing on myself quickly turned into a thriving business.Since becoming a licensed manicurist in 2021, I’ve grown a loyal client base of 60+ recurring clients each month. I’ve even had to close my waitlist — but people still reach out asking if I’m taking new clients (IYKYK).
I also hold a degree in Management with a focus in Small Business Entrepreneurship, which has helped me build NMG BEAUTY with intention. Now, I’m entering a new chapter: education.
Starting Fall 2025, I’ll be hosting gel manicure workshops — beginner-friendly, small group classes where you’ll receive a full kit (lamp included!) and my digital eBook to help you master at-home gel nails. Then in 2026, I’ll be offering structured one-on-one manicure classes for aspiring nail techs who want to learn both the art and the business of nails.This craft gave me purpose — now I’m passing that purpose on. I’m honored to guide the next generation.
